About of Jobeda Foundation Nursing Institute (JFNI)
Despite of high demand, number of Nursing Institute is not enough in Bangladesh. So, our humanitarian and visionary Executive Director of TMSS, Prof. Dr. Hosne-Ara Begum (Ashoka Fellow & PHF) has established Jobeda Foundation Nursing Institute (JFNI) to create job opportunity in domestic & abroad through providing quality nursing education in Northern Part of Bangladesh. JFNI strives to prepare excellent health care providers and leaders to transform the lives of individuals and communities through innovative education. JFNI is a private single-purpose Institute focused on nursing education. JFNI offers 03 years Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery. Our teachers are students-centric and are committed to students’ success; which has been highly appreciated & recognized by the students for open-door policies, attitude towards helping student, identifying their weaknesses & improve academic counseling, quality testing tips and tutoring. Our students develop important nursing knowledge & skills along with leadership qualities. It is a dynamic and responsive nursing institute.
Jobeda Foundation Nursing Institute (JFNI) Dhaka, TMSS is a nursing education institution controlled by TMSS ICT & Environment Sector. The institute is located in the heart of Dhaka and close to Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, the largest medical education institution in the country and Bardem Hospital, a reputed healthcare provider. The institute admits students every year for the Diploma in Nursing Science and Midwifery course. In today’s modern world and in the context of our country, there is huge shortage of trained, skilled nurses. The role of doctors as well as nurses is more important. TMSS is an important national level NGO in Bangladesh; Under the various activities of the NGO, 12 educational institutions including TMSS Medical College are being successfully run in some districts. TMSS established the Nursing Institute here with the aim of increasing the quality of health care of the people of the country, eliminating unemployment, making them modern and well educated and skilled nurses sending abroad to implement the government’s initiative.
